Depot charging: shared vs dedicated stalls?

Our fleet runs 24 electric vans and we're planning a depot upgrade. The debate is whether to install shared 50 kW chargers on a rotation or dedicated 7 kW stalls per van. Shared means fewer units and lower upfront cost, but vans return at unpredictable times and drivers hate waiting. Dedicated stalls are simpler but we'd need a much bigger grid connection.

For those running mixed duty cycles, what's actually worked? Do you size chargers around the worst-case return time or the average? And how much has smart charging software saved you on demand charges versus just letting everything plug in at once? Curious what the real numbers look like after a year.
