Been tracking trade-in quotes on my three-year-old crossover and the numbers are grim. My dealer's offer dropped another 12% since January, while the equivalent petrol model held almost flat. Lease companies are clearly repricing risk after two years of sticker cuts, and it shows in auction data too. What I can't work out is whether this is a temporary correction while new prices stabilise, or a permanent shift in how the market values batteries with no history. Anyone else seeing similar moves on their own cars, or is it just my segment? Would be useful to compare notes across brands and regions.
