I've had my Model 3 for three years and mostly charge at home on a 7kW wallbox, maybe 10-12 Supercharger sessions total. Reported range is down about 6%, which seems normal for the age.
But a friend with the same car and similar mileage fast charges almost weekly and claims his degradation is only around 4%. That's the opposite of what I expected. Is the "DC fast charging wrecks your pack" advice outdated now that thermal management has improved so much?
Curious what real-world data people are seeing. Has anyone tracked degradation against their fast-charging frequency over several years? Also wondering whether charging to 100% on AC is actually worse than repeated 10-80% DC stops.
