Winter tyres or all-seasons? Range hit either way

Second winter with my Model 3 and I am still torn on tyres. Last year I ran all-seasons and the range drop in single-digit temps was around 20 percent, mostly short town trips with the heater on. Considering proper winter tyres this year for the commute, but I have read they cost a bit of range too.

Anyone compared both back to back? Also curious what people are paying for winter wheel sets, and whether insurance cares if you swap. Not
