LFP vs NMC – is the trade-off really worth it for daily drivers?

I keep going back and forth on battery chemistry for my next EV. LFP packs are cheaper, last longer, and can charge to 100% daily without much degradation. But the cold-weather hit is real – I’ve seen reports of 20-30% range loss below freezing. NMC handles winter better and is lighter, but the 80% daily charge cap and faster degradation curve bug me. For someone who does a 60-mile commute and road trips a few times a year, which would you pick? I’m leaning LFP for the longevity, but I want to hear from owners who’ve lived with both in harsh winters. Is the peace of mind worth the range anxiety?
