About Us

Welcome to EVmagazine.eu, a European online magazine about electric mobility, run by a family from the Czech Republic. We bring you news, real-world data and practical tools for EV drivers and for anyone considering the switch to electric. We openly support electromobility — we believe electric drive is the right direction for road transport — but we let the numbers speak, even when they are not flattering for EVs.

Who we are

EVmagazine.eu is operated and written primarily by the two of us, with the whole family taking part in our car tests. Because we value our privacy, articles appear under pen names and our children are presented under pseudonyms. The people legally and editorially responsible for this website are named on this page.

Dan editor

Daniel Česák — founder and editor-in-chief. He follows the EV market, charging infrastructure and battery technology, oversees everything that gets published and has the final word on every article. A man in his forties with a passion for technical innovation, he brings a detailed and factual perspective on how electromobility is changing our daily lives. He publishes under the byline Daniel Cesak.

Miriam

Miriam Česáková — co-editor and Daniel's wife. She evaluates the practical side of electric cars: comfort, design, functionality and family-friendliness. She shares insights from the everyday use of an EV in a family household. She publishes under the byline Miriam.

Annette

Annette (pseudonym) — our teenage daughter. She joins our car tests and evaluations and focuses on what matters to her generation: modern technology, design and trends, from infotainment to connectivity. Thanks to her, our verdicts reflect more than just an adult's point of view.

Filip

Filda (pseudonym) — our school-age son, around ten years old. He experiences every test car with us and explores electromobility through a child's eyes. His perspective helps us evaluate electric cars as real family vehicles, not just machines for adults.

Occasionally, other contributors join in as well; their articles appear under the pen names Sarah, Filip and John.

How we work

We write about what we would want to read ourselves: EV news with a European context, real-world tests and our own measured data. Most news articles are drafted with the help of AI tools, and every article is then read, checked and edited by a human editor before it goes live — nothing is published automatically. Our Editorial Policy describes the whole process, including how we use AI and how we handle corrections.

Besides articles, we build our own databases and tools for EV drivers and prospective buyers: an EV catalog, a supercharger database, a charging station map and several calculators — including one based on real-world range measurements.

We believe our articles and tools will help you navigate the world of electric vehicles. Long live electric vehicles — and the families who drive them!
