The iX3 40 is the entry version of BMW's second-generation electric SUV, the first model on the Neue Klasse platform. A single rear motor delivers 235 kW and 320 PS, fed by an 82.6 kWh net battery with an 800-volt architecture.
Combined WLTP consumption is listed at 15.7 to 18.9 kWh/100 km. The car measures 4,782 mm long with a 520-litre boot and five seats. DC charging reaches 300 kW, and AC charging runs at 11 kW, upgradeable to 22 kW. Top speed is 200 km/h.The iX3 40 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Its 800-volt pack also supports bidirectional charging functions for vehicle-to-load use.
