Winter range loss: real-world numbers?

Just finished my first winter with a 2023 Model Y. I knew cold weather would hurt range, but the drop is steeper than expected. On a recent 150-mile highway trip at 20°F, I used 62% of the battery where summer would have been closer to 40%. That's nearly a 40% range penalty even with the heat pump and preconditioning before departure. I'm curious how this compares to other EVs. Do Leafs, Bolts, or Ioniq 5s see similar percentages? Also, for those in colder climates with multiple winters under their belt, does the degradation from cycling in cold weather add noticeable long-term loss? Trying to decide if I'm doing something wrong or if this is just the reality of winter EV driving. Thanks for any input.
