Germany's EV subsidy cut – EU trend?

Just saw the details on Germany dropping the Umweltbonus early. That hurts. With the EU still pushing for zero-emission targets, it feels like the incentives are going backwards at the exact wrong moment. Anyone else worried other member states will follow suit? We talk about the 2035 ban, but without purchase support, how do we get the mass market moving, especially for affordable EVs? Curious if the company-car taxation rules will also tighten. That was one of the better levers we had. Happy to hear others' takes from different national contexts.
