LFP vs NMC for daily driving—overthinking it?

I’ve been going back and forth on battery chemistry for my next EV. Most daily driving is under 50 miles, and I charge at home on L2. I keep seeing arguments that LFP is the "ethical and durable" choice, but the cold-weather hit and lower energy density mean I’d need a bigger pack for the same range. On the other hand, NMC charges faster on road trips and holds up better in winter, but I worry about long-term degradation if I keep it 10 years. Am I overthinking this for a commuter car? Anyone here regret picking one over the other after a year of ownership?
