With Waymo pushing into more cities and Tesla rolling out v12 to more owners, I’m curious where everyone stands on the actual state of autonomy. Waymo has real driverless operations, but limited geofenced areas. Tesla’s FSD is broader but still requires supervision. As regulators start paying closer attention to both, which approach feels more sustainable? Is the future going to be robotaxi fleets with expensive sensor stacks, or software-first consumer vehicles? Also, how do these recent OTA updates change your confidence in either system?
