I drive an LFP car and love the daily 100% charging advice, but DC fast charging still falls off a cliff past 80%. I get the anode plating risk on NMC, yet LFP is supposedly more tolerant. Is the taper mostly voltage-curve limits, thermal management, or just BMS caution? Also curious whether anyone has real degradation data from frequent 10-80% fast charging versus occasional full cycles. My pack is at 94% health after two years and I want to know what actually stresses it. Any studies or owner logs worth reading?
