I keep seeing claims that LFP packs handle DC fast charging better than NMC, but the recent studies on cycle life seem mixed. Some data shows LFP has higher calendar aging at full charge, and fast charging still adds heat stress. For those of you running high-mileage LFP cars, especially with regular 150kW+ charging, what do your degradation numbers actually look like? Also, any difference in winter vs summer fast charging? I'm trying to decide if I should stop worrying about charging habits and just use the network.
Does frequent DC fast charging really degrade LFP less?
