Two years and 19,000 miles in, and my fronts are already down to 3mm. The tyre shop says it's the weight and instant torque, and they're seeing it on every EV that comes through. Quoted £210 a corner for the same brand, or £150 for a mid-range set they reckon will last just as long. I do mostly town driving with the occasional motorway run, and I'm not exactly heavy-footed. Curious whether others are getting better mileage out of theirs, and whether anyone has switched brands and actually noticed a difference. Also wondering if rotating them front to back is worth bothering with on an EV.
Anyone else seeing crazy tyre wear on their EV?
