I keep seeing conflicting advice. My car has an LFP pack and I DC fast charge most weekdays on my commute, usually stopping around 80%, with a full 100% charge once a week for BMS calibration. The manual says this is fine, but a few owners in my local group insist daily fast charging will cook the pack long-term. I get that LFP is more tolerant than NMC and that the real enemy is heat, not the charge rate itself. Has anyone actually pulled battery health data after a couple of years of heavy DC use? Curious what the degradation curve looks like in practice versus the warranty stories.
Does daily DC fast charging really hurt LFP packs?
