Its 35.8 kWh battery and 100 kW motor deliver 232 km of range on the older NEDC cycle and a 150 km/h top speed. It was built in Dresden and Wolfsburg, and Volkswagen replaced it in the range with the ID.3.
DC charging was limited to 40 kW and AC charging to 7.2 kW, and the 0 to 100 km/h time was 9.6 seconds. Combined consumption is quoted at 12.9 to 13.8 kWh/100 km. The e-Golf was replaced in the range by the ID.3.
