The Explorer is Ford's mid-size electric SUV, engineered and built in Germany. The rear-drive Extended Range version pairs a 79 kWh battery with a 210 kW motor. WLTP range is quoted at 564 to 602 km, with combined consumption of 14.6 to 15.7 kWh/100 km.
The car measures around 4,460 mm and offers a 472-litre boot with five seats. It shares its platform with the Capri coupé, and the Select trim is the entry point of the German line-up. DC charging is supported at up to 135 kW on the rear-drive Extended Range version, and the cabin seats five.
