Tech giant Xiaomi is entering the European electric vehicle market in 2027 with its revolutionary YU7 SUV, which secured 289,000 orders in its first hour of sales. With up to 835km range, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.23 seconds, and groundbreaking 800V silicon carbide technology offered at an expected price around €40,000, the YU7 represents the biggest challenge yet to Tesla's Model Y and traditional premium automakers. Morgan Stanley analysts warn: "It looks like a Ferrari or Aston Martin SUV at the price of a Toyota Camry.
