What is on the table
Kia mixes customer cash, subsidised APR and lease rates. Customer cash comes off the transaction at the dealer, so it is not the same thing as a cut in the sticker price.
- EV9: up to $10,000 customer cash on 2026 models, plus 0% APR and $5,000 APR bonus cash. Leases for the Light Long Range RWD are listed at $399 a month over 24 or 36 months with $4,999 due at signing.
- Niro EV: $10,000 customer cash while stock lasts, leases from $289 a month over 36 months with $3,999 down.
- EV6: $5,000 customer cash, leases from $369 a month over 36 months with $4,999 down.
- EV3: $1,500 customer cash on all trims, or 0.9% APR over 48 months. The Wind FWD leases at $349 a month over 24 months, or $359 over 36 months, with $3,999 down. The Wind AWD runs at $399 and $409.
The cheapest EV3 Light gets no special offer at all. Kia's own payment calculator puts it near $352 a month over 24 months with $3,999 due at signing.
EV3 prices and range
Seven versions are listed for 2027. The Light FWD uses a 58,3 kWh battery and is rated at 221 miles, which is 356 km. Wind, Land, GT-Line and GT carry an 81,4 kWh pack rated at 321 miles (517 km) in front-wheel drive, or 280 miles (451 km) with all-wheel drive.
Prices climb quickly: $29,890 for the Light, $34,990 for the Wind FWD, $38,490 for the Land FWD, $43,490 for the GT-Line AWD and $45,890 for the GT. Delivery adds $1,495 to each one.
All trims get Kia's ccNC system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two 12,3-inch screens and a 5-inch climate display.
What the discounts are worth in euros
I converted at roughly 0,86 € to the dollar. The $10,000 on the EV9 and the Niro EV works out to about 8,600 €. The $1,500 EV3 credit is about 1,290 €, and the delivery fee is another 1,290 €.
The Wind FWD lease totals $12,375 over 24 months once the down payment is counted, about 10,640 €, or roughly 443 € a month with everything included. That is the number to compare against a cash purchase, not the advertised $349.
Pack costs keep sliding elsewhere. BMW is spending €1bn on a Bavarian plant for 108,7 kWh packs, which we covered in BMW's new battery plant in Bavaria. Chinese pricing sits far below US levels: the Jetta brand's first electric sedan there starts at 10,600 €, as we reported in VW's Jetta brand prices its first electric sedan at €10,600 in China.
Cost per 100 km
My assumptions: 16,5 kWh/100 km in mixed driving for the 81,4 kWh car, 0,20 €/kWh at home and 0,50 €/kWh on a DC charger. That gives 3,30 € per 100 km at home and 8,25 € on the road. A petrol crossover at 6,5 l/100 km and 1,55 €/l costs about 10,10 €. Run your own tariff through our charging cost calculator and check the annual gap with the EV savings calculator.
Charging prices are falling in some markets. In South Korea, the Water utility opened 23 highway sites with 400 kW chargers at 0,19 €/kWh, which we covered in South Korea's 400 kW highway charging parks.
Charging and the NACS port
Every US-market EV3 has a native NACS port, so Tesla Superchargers work without an adapter. A 10% to 80% charge takes about 29 minutes with the 58,3 kWh battery and around 31 minutes with the 81,4 kWh pack.
European EV3s use CCS2 instead. Our supercharger database lists 483 locations across Europe, with prices in the charging map and the cheapest sites under cheapest Superchargers. Full specification cards sit in the EV catalog.
Sales context
The EV3 went on sale in mid-August. Kia sold just over 500 in its first full month in the US. The company posted another record quarter and is chasing a fourth consecutive record sales year.
Dates and conditions
Kia's electric offers end on 2 November 2026 and may vary by state. The $10,000 Niro EV credit applies while supply lasts, and the EV3 Light is not part of the programme.
